FAQ

What happens at the beginning of each month?

On the first of every month you will be sent over an email full of information about what’s happening in the month. Complete with the classes available; group sessions happening and my suggestions for the month. The classes are drip fed every month to make sure you don’t get ahead or overwhelmed so this is your chance to get on and get caught up on the next bunch of classes available.

Don’t forget to flag these emails so that you don’t miss out on any important information.

What if I fall behind on the work?

This is inevitable. In a programme like this there are no doubt going to be times throughout the year when you fall a little behind and there will always be demands on your attention from business and life so please don’t feel under pressure to be up to speed all of the time.

 

The main reason for the high levels of communications is for me to support you to adapt The Agency to your own business needs so I will help you prioritise your work to make sure you are working on the areas that will make a difference to you, and catching up on the subsidiary classes when you can.

Not only this but we have dedicated catch up time in the consistency month and the rest month as well as an extra month of access at the end of the programme to ensure you feel able to cover everything.

What do you expect of me?

The main thing I expect is for you to keep in comunicado with me. Think of The Agency like enrolling on an open university course. The work is set to complete and I am here to support you to do that.

If you fall behind, things come up or you need to pause or move ahead then I’m here to help. Whatever comes your way throughout the next year all that I ask is that you do your best and keep me in the loop.

 

Every year there are new challenges for businesses to work through but they have all succeeded and continued to grow their businesses despite what was thrown at them because we worked through it all together. So the minimum I ask for is for you to let me help you grow, develop and expand your business - that’s what I’m here for at the end of the day!

 

Beyond this I expect you to try to do your best to watch the classes and complete the work every month to be able to easily move onto the next month. I also expect you to attend as many sessions available to you as possible so that (as I’ve said) I can be there to support you as much as possible.

What if something happens and I can no longer continue with the programme?

All sales are final and once you have committed to purchasing The Agency programme there are no refunds. If you find you can no longer continue with the programme then you will have to continue to pay your monthly payments or settle the full cost.

 

However I am under no illusion that you may encounter personal or business problems throughout the year that we are working together that may get in the way of your ability to do The Agency. It is a long time to be working together and I would be disillusioned to expect you to have a perfect year.

 

In the past years in The Agency I have supported businesses through the global pandemic, financial uncertainty, relocation, bereavement, redundancy, hospitalisation, illness, family issues and poor mental health.

I am not a trained counsellor and have no ability to physically coach or counsel anyone through things that life might throw at them. But I am able to be flexible, help you understand personal limitations and ensure that you have a strong enough business in place to enable you to move away from it and then come back to it if life gets in the way.

 

Instead of not continuing with The Agency I would much rather support your business through anything that life throws at you so that you can be confident that you have a strong and resilient business model.

As I have mentioned this is a highly supportive programme and I am here to help you.

What if I want some more help, outside of the 1 hour 1:1's?

I’ve got you! Even if your help falls outside of our 1:1 session in the month. Here are the ways in which you can continue to be supported:

  • If it’s a tech problem then you are welcome to use up some of your tech support time to help you get over a tech hurdle.

  • You are always welcome to drop in anything you’d like me to look over into our Slack DMs for feedback.

  • We have a Slack group set up where you can interact and ask questions with the other members of The Agency and we can all join in to support each other.

  • We have weekly co-working sessions which you can use to drop your little Q’s into as you work your way through something.

  • Our monthly Q+As and group sessions are also great ways to get help from The Agency community and me directly. These sessions are made for you to drop in on, show up to and get clarity on your business.

 

As you can see - you are completely supported. This isn’t a generic group programme. It is 1:1 work supported in a group setting.

What if I'm ahead on the work?

I can always find more things for you to do! May seem intense but if you need more work, then I will be able to find more things for you to do and push yourself with. There is no limit to the amount of things you can do for your business so i can always find something to challenge yourself with.

The Agency has been thought out with a specific line of progress in it and so there isn’t the option to jump ahead but more to tweak, refine and improve on any previous work or class you may be able to revisit.

What should I expect of you?

What you should expect from every consultant/ programme provider! To provide the service I have promised you! I am here to provide you with expert opinion and advice based upon my educational and professional background.

 

I have a 1st degree in Business Marketing & Management with Psychology as well as 13 years running my own businesses and the past 6 of those years consulting SMEs on Digital marketing Strategy.

I have consulted over 500 businesses in a 1:1 capacity ranging from PLC corporates to ambitious start ups and everything in between. I don’t have a product or service based consulting niche because instead my focus is on the consumer experience and the strategy to getting more end sales.

 

So I bring all of this into The Agency and pour it into your business as well as the expert knowledge of our guest class teachers.

 

You can expect my support, my timely delivery of the classes and my compassion and expert opinion on the growth, development and day to day running of your business.

What is the consistency challenge month?

After a while of doing the classes in The Agency your business will grow and become more visible. At this point peoples consistency tends to drop because the demands of the business increase. But it’s no good to have dips in your consistency so at this point we put the classes on hold and concentrate on growing our consistency habits again.

There are prizes for everyone to encourage and incentivise you. But the whole point of it is to ensure that our socials aren’t neglected.

You will be supported and encouraged to get consistent on your posts, stories, reels, blogs and pr.

Rest month?

When your business is at its peak of The Agency and Christmas is on top of you and your business has orders and bookings flying out of the door... it is only right to step back and rest for a month whilst you’re trying to juggle everything.

So in December we have a ‘rest month’ this doesn’t mean that you won’t have anything to get on with but it is a good time to catch up, reflect, rest and set goals for the next year. In the rest month we will continue to have our calls and check in with each other but it will be at a slower pace to give you the space to take a well deserved rest before we jump into the new year.
